Getting Married August 18, 2012
Theresa and Kevin have been together for 7.5 years and have spent 7 of those years apart. Kevin is a member of The United States Air Force where he was part of the elite honor of performing funeral services of those who have died serving our country. After Kevin’s childhood friend was killed in Iraq, he was determined to honor him by transferring to a unit in Afghanistan. Before deployment Theresa and Kevin were married in her living room by a judge but Kevin was determined to give Theresa the Church wedding she has always wanted. Theresa is a first grade teacher for a catholic school and is planning the wedding on her own while Kevin is overseas. Jeff and Sheryl were chosen as a runner up thanks to their unique application. They submitted an original poem and DVD of their engagement. We couldn’t help but fall in love with their creativity, outgoing personalities, and love for each other. The couple met through friends and where engaged a few months later. Love at first glance. They have planned their wedding to be on the 3 year anniversary of the day they met and are seeking second jobs to save for their big day. To see their engagement photos click HERE Amy and Brian
A Little Bit About Amy and Brian
Getting Married September 21, 2012
Amy and Brian are both active volunteers in the community and public servants. Brian works for 2 different first aid squads in Sussex County. A few years ago he was on his way to Fire Academy when he was in a serious motorcycle accident. 3.5 years and 4 surgeries later he is still trying to overcome the financial burden and daily limitations this accident has caused him. Amy is also a volunteer EMT and Firefighter. She works part time as a paramedic for the ambulance squad and part time as a substitute therapist for children with autism. They are also both active volunteers for The American Cancer. Not long ago Amy’s father and Brian’s grandfather were diagnosed with Cancer. They spend a lot of their time helping Amy’s dad with treatment and recovery and have volunteered to move in with Brian’s grandfather to aide in his recovery. But to make matters worse Amy was recently diagnosed with vocal cord dysfunction. A rare disease that has hospitalized her close to ten times already. The hospital and medication bills have caused extreme financial distress and forced Brian to pick up overtime hours and side jobs to pay the bills. A Little Bit About Meredith and Adam
Getting Married September 22, 2012
Meredith and Adam were engaged this past New Years Eve in front of family and friends. They have been through many hardships over the years including broken down cars, deaths in the family, cancer scares, and budget struggles. Meredith works full time at Walmart in Franklin, NJ and picks up odd jobs to save for the wedding. Adam works 12 hours a day at Home Depot and Overnight for Sparta Water Utility. He even picks up shifts in the winter at a Christmas Tree Farm to save for the wedding. They are a hard working couple hoping to save enough money for their “backyard pig roast wedding”! Ursula and Chris met 5 yrs ago when a friends car broke down. Since then Chris attended Lincoln Tech and SCCC for automotive and accounting. He now works 12hrs a day as a mason to save money for their future. Ursula graduated from William Patterson with a degree in Childhood Education and Special Education. She just recently was hired at Hamburg Elementary School working with special needs children and also works as a bartender saving her tip money for a wedding dress. Just days after they were engaged Chris's Aunt passed away and Ursula's father was admitted into the hospital. They put all of their wedding plans on hold and did everything they could to help both families. Sadly, on father's day this year Ursula lost her father. The thought of her father not walking down the aile still brings tears to her eyes. Currently they are both working more then full time to save for their big day. Getting Married: August 20, 2011
